CNR Bilateral Agreement
On July 13, 2011 an Agreement and Cooperative Programme was signed between the National Council for Scientific Research of Lebanon (CNRS-L) and the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) towards strengthening cooperation in scientific research between the 2 countries. The agreement also included a Cooperative Programme to establish Joint Research Projects between Lebanese and Italian researchers.
CNR Joint Laboratories
The Joint lab project is based on a proposal of research activity to be jointly carried out by Italian and Foreign researchers who intend to share their skills as well as their research facilities to create a Joint Lab - a meeting place, both physical and virtual, having new, improved characteristics if compared to the original single structures of affiliation.
Honor Frost Foundation
The Honor Frost Foundation was founded in 2011 with a major bequest from the late Honor Frost. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the advancement and research, including publication, of maritime archaeology with particular but not exclusive focus on the eastern Mediterranean with an emphasis on Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus.
